The Glover Report: An Entrepreneurial Praise Report
Not everyone understands the sacrifices that an entrepreneur makes. Nor do many people appreciate the risks. However, for the entrepreneur who knows no other way, please know that you are indeed a leader. Risks come with the territory. Sacrifice becomes a way of life. Yet, at the end of the day, the entrepreneur has not only created a way for himself or herself – but for their team as well. It is one thing to create a shot for oneself. However, it is so much more to create opportunities for others.
Even more, while everybody sees the end result of a project, the entrepreneur knows that few if any are willing to do the all-nighters, miss the party, or check all of the emails from this week alone.

The Glover Report: Head to the DC Black-owned Marriott RIGHT AWAY: US Black Chambers, Inc. is convening NOW!
I am so pleased when I see the next generation engaged in business. Why? We, in the black community, are what they call “super-consumers” or “super-users.” That means we are the shopping-est folks in America. Two young men come to mind, in particular: Jelani Byrd and Ron Busby, Jr.
Both young black men are at the DC Marriott with their dads. In fact, Ron’s dad is running the national black chamber event in DC as we speak. To say the least, that’s a priceless experience seeing youth engaged in business. It is one that simply warms my heart.
