Guest Editorial: From the Desk of The Warrior Lawyer, J. Wyndal Gordon, Esquire: Update on Death of Anthony Anderson, Believed by Community to have been Killed by Baltimore's Finest
(BALTIMORE - September 30, 2012) - According to investigative reporter, Jayne Miller, WBALTV, unconfirmed preliminary autopsy report says Anthony Anderson died of injury to his spleen & broken rib(s) as a result of strong-arm attack from behind by Baltimore City Police Officer driving Anderson into the ground head & neck first.
Toxicology report revealed no drugs in system disproving original claim by BCPD that he choked on CDS. Anderson was killed in front of his mother, son, daughter and 2 y.o. granddaughter 10 days ago on his granddaughter’s birthday. He was innocently walking to his mother’s house with packaged goods from a local corner store when he was grabbed & slammed from behind by a big burly officer.
New Baltimore City Police Commissioner Anthony Batts visited the family (with myself present) last week to extend his condolences but stopped short of identifying the officers involved or disclosing official preliminary cause and manner of death despite confirming possession of information.
Anderson was buried yesterday leaving a host of survivors behind to sort things out. An organized march & rally ensued from the funeral home through the streets of Baltimore to the location where Anderson was murdered on the vacant lot at the corner of Biddle & Montford Streets. Over 150 people participated, lead by civil rights activist Cortly "C.D." Witherspoon. The family continues to grieve and search for justice. The Baltimore City State’s Attorney has not yet charged the officer(s). A civil suit is imminent.

The Glover Report: It's Election Time!:
Whether it's Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta - wherever, black people have to come to better understand a Delegate from a state Senator and a state Senator from a US Senator. We have to understand what the local Council does, what the state assembly does, and what is done in Congress. We also have to understand the legislation they write and who it impacts. Classic example: prisons. Somebody is voting for more and more prisons. My issue is that too many people who look just like me keep filling these cells. Currently, America has the Gold! It incarcerates 25% of the world's inmates, 40% who are black and male ... like me.
