"Love, Layers, & Laughter", Sun., October 2, 2011: Rose Hamm, Educator, to be Honored with Black Capitol Award
Rose Backus Davis-Hamm is a pillar in the Baltimore community. The veteran educator is known by many for her tenure in the Baltimore City Public School system where she last served as principal of Frederick Douglass High School.
She has since retired, but nonetheless remains a viable part of the fabric that makes Baltimore special.
Former students still rant and rave about her leadership as an educator. They say that she inspired them to do great things.
