White House 2011 Easter Egg Roll Program and Talent Line-up:
This year’s theme is “Get Up and Go!” The theme focuses on promoting health and wellness and encouraging children to lead healthy and active lives. This is a central part of the First Lady’s Let’s Move! initiative, which is a national effort to combat childhood obesity.
The Easter Egg Roll is the largest annual public event at the White House.
- 30,000 people from all 50 states and the District of Columbia have received tickets to the event.
One-Year Anniversary of First Lady's Efforts vs. Childhood Obesity:

In recent years, Associated Black Charities (ABC) has worked together with community partners to tackle the childhood obesity epidemic in Baltimore City. In 2008, ABC and the Association of Baltimore Area Grantmakers released the Baltimore Blueprint for Healthy Outcomes in Children.
