But not so fast …
From health disparities and challenges to impoverished living to under-education to the most startling fact of them all – besides the life expectancy of a black man in urban America: 44% of America’s prison population is black men.
This fact alone speaks volumes to the reality of life for a black man in America. He stars as the convict “and” the president in the movie about greatest nation on earth. Two thousand and eleven, baby. And Gil Scott is dead. Therefore, there is no one else to remind us that the revolution will be announced via text message and IM and Facebook and Twitter. But, “…. it will not be televised!”
