Black Politicians Stand Up: EDO says, “Shut down EBDI”
Baltimore City Council President Bernard Young told 75 attendees or so to the East Baltimore press conference that this is a sad day in East Baltimore. He and his Eastside Democratic Organization colleagues convened on East Chase Street at the headquarters to East Baltimore Development, Inc. (EBDI) today to oppose any further ties with EBDI until community people get the jobs and business contracts that were promised.
They suggest a billion dollars have come through East Baltimore since 2002. Read in Full >>
