Guest Editorial: Congressional Black Caucus Conference 2012: First Day Thoughts
Good mornng all! Yesterday was an interesting day, indeed. This weekend, I write this post from Washington, D.C. I am in town for the 42nd Annual Legislative Conference. The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation
is holding a four day event, which started this Wednesday. The theme for this conference is Inspiring Leaders and Building Generations, and I noticed that much of it was geared towards youth and civic engagement. A great launching point for the events of the day, as they would run the gamut in dealing with a number of issues that effect young voters. Read in Full >>

Event at CEO Business Café in Greenbelt to feature Delegate Aisha Braveboy, Chair of the Legislative Black Caucus of MD; Icetech's Will Hopson
As BMORENEWS.com is gearing up for its 10th Anniversary celebration in Prince George’s County, we're so proud to announce our keynote is none other than Delegate Aisha Braveboy, Chair of the Legislative Black Caucus of MD. Also, I’d be totally remiss if I didn’t mention my big brother/mentor in business who has been there for me every step of the way. His name is Mr. William Hopson, CEO of Icetech, and we first met in my beloved Sandtown community in Historic West Baltimore. He's the guy that gave me my first taste of Gorgeous Prince George's. After visiting Woodmore, I have never been the same.
