BMORENEWS Global Forum on Women’s Empowerment at UN, 6.15.12 : Sponsored by the Foundation for the Support of the United Nations (FSUN)
Greetings! My name is Doni M. Glover and I am the founder of DMGlobal Marketing & Public Relations, the Creator of www.bmorenews.com. Ten years ago, I founded this entity with a two-fold purpose: to publish news from an African American perspective; and two – to provide small business owners with similar access to market their products and/or services.
Over the past decade, we have covered news from around the US – as well as news from other countries – including Ghana, South Africa, China, Puerto Rico, and Ethiopia.
As for clients – they have been both big and small. In any event, our goal is always the same: to completely satisfy the client. And that is exactly why we started doing business networking events - first, in Baltimore, then Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County, Prince George’s County, and Washington, D.C.
The goal is always to better connect our clients/advertisers with potential customers. Also, another goal is to connect our clients with potential strategic partners. At the end of the day, we want more business for those we serve. We want our clients to grow beyond their wildest imagination. We believe that with proper preparation, businesses can better handle business opportunities and are more apt to succeed.
On this note, I would personally like to invite you to the BMORENEWS Global Forum on Women’s Empowerment. As a black man in America, I am well aware of the challenges minorities face in the world of business. Women – despite their value and beauty – are often challenged, too. Hence, we have worked diligently to help women business owners.
I have to admit, part of my motivation comes from the fact that I have an 11-year old daughter and I want her to grow up knowing as many powerful women as possible. That is indeed what I want for her: To become empowered to know that she can accomplish absolutely anything to which she puts her mind.
As always, we have put together what we believe is a stellar lineup designed to help empower you!
So, do join us as we trek to New York City on Friday, June 15th for our most magnanimous event ever – thanks to Janet C. Salazar: The BMORENEWS Global Forum on Women’s Empowerment at the United Nations. The event is sponsored by the Foundation to Support the United Nations. To RSVP, visit www.BmorenewsUNForum.eventbrite.com. Tickets are $99 prior to June 1st. Afterwards, tickets are $136.

The Glover Report: It's Election Time!:
Whether it's Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta - wherever, black people have to come to better understand a Delegate from a state Senator and a state Senator from a US Senator. We have to understand what the local Council does, what the state assembly does, and what is done in Congress. We also have to understand the legislation they write and who it impacts. Classic example: prisons. Somebody is voting for more and more prisons. My issue is that too many people who look just like me keep filling these cells. Currently, America has the Gold! It incarcerates 25% of the world's inmates, 40% who are black and male ... like me.
