Dr. Reneé B. Harding
Biography
Dr. Reneé B. Harding is a Business & Clinical Psychology Consultant as well as the Director of Harding Consulting – a psychology consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations and individuals achieve higher levels of happiness and success.
She received the prestigious Top 100 Minority Business® Enterprise award in 2009 for
demonstrating outstanding achievement in four key areas: entrepreneurship, client satisfaction, and professional and community contributions. In 2010, she has been selected by MEA Magazine as one of the “50 Powerful Minority Women in Business”.
Founded in 2003, Harding Consulting has successfully served as consultant to many organizations and businesses including the United States Army Reserve, Maryland State Police Department, The Embassy of Australia, The National Institutes of Health (N.I.H.), GeorgetownUniversityHospital, and a host of small businesses, individuals, and families. The firm has clinical offices in Baltimore and Columbia, Maryland.
Dr. Harding recently established the “Suboxone Success program” - Harding Consulting’s substance abuse program dedicated to helping individuals overcome heroin addiction. The program was recently highlighted by the Baltimore Buprenorphine Initiative (a Joint Project of the Baltimore City Health Department, Baltimore Substance Abuse Systems, and Baltimore HealthCare Access, Inc.) for its success.
Through her non-profit initiatives, Dr. Harding established a national high school fraternity and sorority: Gamma G.I.R.L.S. and F.R.A.T. brothers – with five chapters throughout Maryland. Dr. Harding founded the fraternity and sorority to serve as a social psychology-based intervention that helps minority-low income students overcome the obstacles to academic success that they encounter in their family, school, and neighborhood environments. In 2006, Dr. Harding received recognition from the Mayor of Baltimore for her dedication to increasing the academic achievement levels of BaltimoreCity youth.
Dr. Harding has earned a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, a Master's degree in Quantitative and Applied Psychology, a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Entrepreneurship, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, and a Bachelor's degree in Theater Arts.
She has served as a consultant for Fox 45 news and Black Entertainment Television (B.E.T), has been recognized in several newspapers and magazines, writes two magazine advice columns on business and personal success, and has a call-in radio program on WOLB 1010 AM that provides psychologically-based advice to help individuals and entrepreneurs achieve higher levels of success in life.
Dr. Harding is a member of the American Psychological Association, Maryland Psychological Association, Association of Black Psychologists, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
