(BALTIMORE - May 13, 2008) - Well, the business community asked for it. So, it's back by popular demand: BMORENEWS.com and The Baltimore Times will present a business networking mixer tomorrow at Baltimore's own Shops @ North & Charles, 23-25 E. North Avenue - in the heart of the city.
This event is designed to provide exposure for business professionals from all industries, particularly the aspiring entrepreneurs who are out there toiling to get their products and services to the marketplace.
Also, two local legends will be recognized: Dr. Marie J. Washington of the East Baltimore Community Coalition and Catherine B. Orange of the Arena Players.

Given the events of the last few days involving the unfortunate death of a Prince George’s County Police officer in the line of duty and the mysterious death of one of the suspects arrested for that killing, and who died while in police custody, the 178 at-large members of the NAACP are again asking “Where is the leadership of the current Prince George’s County Branch of the NAACP?” We have yet to hear from that organization on any aspect of this incident.
