Carolyn Bonnett

2007 Top 100 MBE Award Winner

Carolyn T. Bonnett  62, founder of one of the top woman-owned lobbying firms in Annapolis, died May 6 of cervical cancer at Gilchrist Hospice in Baltimore. Bonnett is one of the recipients of the 2007 Top 100 MBE Awards.
  .
In her 2007 Top 100 MBE Awards application Bonnett wrote the following:

"CTB Government Relations is ranked among the most successful lobby firms in the state.  CTB has been ranked as the most successful woman-owned lobby in Maryland 18 out of 21 years since 1985 and is in the top 2% of Maryland's registered lobbyists.  I am proud to have broken the glass ceiling that exists in the Maryland lobbying profession.  It is an honor to serve as a role model for young women entering the field."

In 2007 Carolyn Bonnett sold her firm to fellow 2007 Top 100 MBE winner Steve Proctor, CEO of G.S. Proctor and Associates, Inc.   She touched so many lives and the impact of her accomplishments will remain the bar of excellence and the pinnacle of success for many of us. She will be missed.   To view her obituary....
