Alexis Coates : Technology Business Startup Basics:
That's always a tough question for me to answer. I've always figured aspiring entrepreneurs needed to learn as much as they could about everything and anything that had to do with business in order for them really achieve.
That said, there are two main skills you need to cultivate and acquire to be a great business along with five others technologies you need to focus on to really give you a sense of what it's like to successfully run a business:
I. Website. There are many advantages to having a professionally designed website. Consider some of the points below:
1. Make a great first impression of your business to first-time visitors to your site
2. Reach a wider, global market
3. Increases credibility
4. Use as a promotional tool
5. Increase sales
II. Customer Relation Management System Database. Customer relationship management (CRM) is a broadly recognized, widely-implemented strategy for managing and nurturing a company’s interactions with customers and sales prospects. It involves using technology to organize, automate, and synchronize business processes—principally sales-related activities, but also those for marketing, customer service, and technical support. The overall goals are to find, attract, and win new customers, nurture and retain those the company already has, entice former customers back into the fold, and reduce the costs of marketing and customer service.
