Today, Herbert C. Buchanan Jr. was named the Chief Executive Officer of Howard University Hospital (HUH). The appointment is effective Oct. 1.

Mr. Buchanan will direct the day-to-day activities of the hospital, including community relations, financial management, marketing, information technology and clinical and administrative operations.
