A central database of the kind envisioned by Busby will become a resource for those looking for African-American owned businesses in specific industries. It will also help to determine in what markets Black businesses are underrepresented so that USBC can help drive new business developments in those areas. It is also a way to help resolve unemployment concerns within the African-American community by bringing together Black-owned businesses with those who are in need of employment.
