Shaheen Afishan, Managing Director, M/s. Summit International
Shaheen Afishan was born in Sialkot, Pakistan on April 25, 1970, but grew up in Gujranwala Pakistan, where her parents’ roots are from. Shaheen Afishan is an outstanding business woman; she is the first woman in Pakistan who is in the Tactical Gear/Combat Clothing & Accessories industry. She is the second child of three siblings of Shamin Ahmed a Rubber Chemist in Lahore, Pakistan. Her young brother is also in the same field of business, but based in Australia. They belong to a prominent family in Gujranwala, Pakistan. She has started her business from $3000 loan from her father and the business has been growing steadily over the years to a multi-million dollar company.
Shaheen Afishan has built her business without bank loans and her goods are famous for their excellent quality.
Shaheen Afishan success come from her determination coupled with hard work. She believes that determination & assertiveness makes a business succeed. She been in this field for 10 years now and as a woman, is not easy for her because she is dealing with an apparel industry geared mostly toward men. Her thriving multi-national business is a testament to her business practices, talents, and passion.
Shaheen Afishan owns two multinational companies, Summit International which manufactures Combat Clothing and Accessories, and Euro Star which manufactures trousers, shirts, caps and bags. Her Business partners are from Germany, UK, & Italy. She has other businesses ventures currently in development.

Cheryl Walker-Robertson, Founder, Protocol International
Cheryl Walker-Robertson is the founder of Protocol International, offering interactive etiquette, protocol and civility workshops and consultations for today’s executives and tomorrow’s business leaders. Ms. Walker-Robertson is recognized for her extraordinary talent in presenting protocol, etiquette and civility strategies in an interactive and interesting way. Because of this ability, she is often in-demand as a speaker and expert on issues facing today’s market and to four different generations.
Her clientele represent Fortune 500 businesses, Government, Educational Institutions, The Entertainment Industry, Small & Medium size businesses, Social groups as well and Youth, Teen and Children based Organizations. Her background includes 25 years in sales and marketing, extensive experience in protocol and cultural diversity with an international airline. A graduate of Saint Augustine’s College, she has also studied under the direction of Dorothea Johnson, Protocol Adviser and Liaison to the Washington Diplomatic Community for the Joint Military Attaché.
Cheryl is a co-author of "The Power of Civility" and a contributing writer to various trade and business publications in addition to online radio shows. She has been called the "Ultimate Networker", and has trained finance, sales and marketing experts on the art and science of networking. Cheryl is the national protocol and etiquette expert for Count Me In (Make Mine a Million/M3), NBC 40, ProDiverse, and Odyssey Media amongst others. Protocol International is the protocol and etiquette consultant for the reality show "Princess Perfect".

All high school seniors, undergraduate (2-year or 4-year) college students, and students at vocational or trade schools are eligible to apply. All applicants must be US citizens, 25 years old or younger, and have a minimum GPA of 2.0.
Founded in 2002 by Shawn Carter (Jay-Z) and his mother, Gloria Carter, the foundation has since given scholarships to over 750 students, totaling over $1.3 million dollars.
