(BALTIMORE - August 22, 2008) - With much fanfare, LIVE music, and a heap of onlookers, Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon and Gov. Martin O'Malley celebrated the grand opening of Baltimore's newest tourist attraction: The Baltimore Convention Center Hilton Hotel.
Located on West Pratt Street, just steps away from the Baltimore Convention Center, this $300 million project has more than 700 rooms for patrons.
Its General Manager is Linda Norman. Norman, who is African American, told BMORENEWS.com today that she is excited about the opportunity and looks forward to an incredible tenure at Baltimore's newest attraction.
