Tickets are $50 and include a light fare buffet, cash bar, the David Brown Jazz Band, special musical performances, and music by DJ Tanz. Additionally, several state and local officials, executives and personalities will be in attendance, including Baltimore City Comptroller Joan Pratt. This will definitely be an evening to remember.

(BALTIMORE – October 20, 2009) - Communities Organized to Improve Life, Inc. will present “Standing on the Shoulders of Giants: Keeping BMORENEWS.com Viable in the Community” on Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 6 to 10 pm at the Frederick Douglass - Isaac Myers Maritime Park, 1417 Thames Street, Baltimore, MD 21231.

From his early days as Editor of the Sandtown-Winchester ViewPoint Newspaper to running one of the country’s premier news portals on the web, Doni Glover has made it his business to continually serve the people.
