The Heel-A-Thon will be a site to see, as thousands of women from all walks of life will stand together in heels and walk for those who have fallen victim to this modern day slavery. This event will kick off at 7am and will run until 1pm. During this time there will be mass media involved in publicizing this cause. We request your presence for this cause so that we may reach the masses through television, radio, internet, and print. This event will be followed by a benefit gala held at the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park and Museum. This event will start at 9:30pm and will end at 1:30am.

This is a wonderful event in support of this worthy cause, in which participants, sponsors and those who have contributed will all gather in solidarity to make a difference.
