"It's an event that I truly look forward to every year!" says Laura L. Green, Development Director for the American Lung Association in Maryland, "Everyone really embraces the theme of the Ball, wearing tux's, gowns and masks! It's a fun and beautiful party that gives back to the community.  I wouldn't miss it for the world!"

William Honablew, Jr., Current GBLA President, admits that raising funds to support the organizations programs during the recession has been tough but adds, "...this is the time when our community needs us the most so we've had to double our fundraising efforts to help us reach those people who need us now more than ever.  The Masquerade Ball is a key component to our financial goals.
