Those selected will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of individuals who are all extremely talented in their respective fields, including writing, radio and TV production, the Internet, editing, talent, photography and videography.
BMORENEWS.com, in our 7 years of operation, has won a number of awards for our innovative usage of technology and our eternal advocacy for black issues, including public education, business, ex-offender services, affordable housing, and universal access to healthcare.
Participants in the Summer Internship Program will gain exposure to a multitude of media professionals, politicians, business owners and heads of organizations – all considered to be “movers and shakers” in the Maryland-DC region.
According to Doni Glover, “We have been working with interns from our inception 7 years ago. In that time, we believe we have come close to perfecting the education of future journalists.”
He added, “Every single intern has gone on to do some pretty fascinating work. Whether you are talking about a Kanika Feaster, the founder of Talk Lounge TV show, or Princess Williams, a graduate of Goucher College, or Bobby Marvin, an emerging black media voice, the founder of Hue Voices and a student at Morgan State University – BMORENEWS.com simply provides the access to opportunity.
Do take advantage of this unique opportunity to work with a premiere leader in the world of journalism. If you want to be a part of the BMORENEWS.com experience, send your resume to dmg@bmorenews.com or mail to BMORENEWS.com, Icetech Village, 940 West North Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21217.
