Dr. Jamal-Harrison Bryant invites Sybrina Fulton, mother of Trayvon Martin, to Baltimore, Maryland to speak about her personal journey on the wake of the Three-Month anniversary of her son’s death.
Empowerment Temple Update
Earlier this week, Sybrina Fulton, mother of slain Florida teenager Trayvon Martin, received 34 weeks worth of donated time off from fellow Miami-Dade County government employees, allowing her to be paid while taking time off from work to deal with issues surrounding the racially charged murder case. One of her first trips is to visit Empowerment Temple Church, where Dr. Jamal-Harrison Bryant has invited her to Baltimore, Maryland to address his congregation on “Women’s Day” on the topic of strength, faith and hope.
This will be the first time Sybrina Fulton has been to Baltimore and the first time she’ll be speaking to an audience on a personal note - sharing how she’s coping as a mother who just buried her son.
