Organizers and activists from across the region will gather in Durham, N.C., Dec. 12-14 for the 7th Bi-Annual Southern Human Rights Organizers’ Conference to find ways to work together on problems ranging from toxic corporate hog farms, the struggle of workers as the economy falters, and targeting of immigrants, to health disparities, workplace violence, violence and abuses against women and other issues.
