Marc Clarke’s Always Daddy’s Girl Father-Daughter Dance aims to demonstrate the strong bond between young ladies and their fathers

Former local radio personality Marc Clarke wants fathers to close the laptops, turn off the cell phones and leave the projects at work.  Instead, spend an enchanted evening with their favorite girl at a special event honoring Father’s Day.

WHO: Former morning show radio personality Marc Clarke

WHAT: “Marc Clarke’s Always Daddy’s Girl Father-Daughter Dance” to celebrate Father’s Day

WHEN: Saturday, June 13, 2009, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: The Delta Community Center, 2501 Springhill Ave.

WHY: “As the father of three young girls, I know that the bond between fathers and daughters is unmatched and amazing and I understand that what I do and say will help shape my daughters’ lives,” said Clarke.  “Time will move on, but they will always be Daddy’s girls.”

The inaugural event features food, family-friendly music and games and is open to daughters three years of age and older.  Girls may also be accompanied by a grandfather, uncle, guardian or other Father figure.  Tickets are $20 couple; $10 additional daughter.  For more information, contact Marva Williams at 410.599.9159 or marva@marvadevents.com.  Tickets also available at www.missiontix.com.
