Victorine Quille Adams, daughter of the late Joseph C. Quille and Estelle Tate, was born on April 28, 1912 in Baltimore, Maryland. Following a beautiful and glorious sunrise, Victorine peacefully departed this life on Sunday, January 8, 2006.

WOMAN POWER, INC.
Among Mrs. Adams' many accomplishments was the formation of Woman Power, Inc.“Each One Reach One” is a slogan of Woman Power, Inc. 

The next event is the Annual Fall Leadership Conference and Luncheon October, 14, 2009 . 
 
In addition, there is a fundraiser to Atlantic City on May 23, 2009 and a Harriet Tubman Tour in Cambridge Maryland this fall.  
 
What is Woman Power, Inc.?
 
Woman Power, Inc. is a non-profit, civic and community organization.  Its membership consist of women who are residing voters residing in the State of Maryland and Washington , D.C.
 
Woman Power, Inc. was founded August 19, 1958 as an independent, non-partisan organization to stimulate women to become more civic-minded citizens.
 
What Does Woman Power, Inc. Do?
The purpose of  Woman  Power, Inc. is to disseminate political information, direct political action on community issues, and to stimulate an awareness of the importance of the ballot for economic, social and civic progress.
 
To accomplish our purposes, Woman Power, Inc. has ongoing activities that include:  (1) community workshops which address issues and concerns that affect all citizens; (2) voter registration drives to encourage all citizens that to vote is a privilege and a right; (3) examination of political issues and legislation and their effects on the community; and (4) trips to Congressional Hearings, General Assembly in Annapolis, and City/County Council sessions.
 
Who Can Join Woman Power, Inc?
 
Woman Power, Inc; welcomes all women, the highly trained and the unskilled. Every woman can teach something – every woman can learn something.  Be a registered voter, regardl ess of party affiliation, (this organization is multi-partisan).  Men are not excluded.  Men may join and work with the Minute Men.   
 
Dues:  The membership fee is $15.00 annually and due each spring.
