By Staff Reporter, www.bmorenews.com
(BALTIMORE – February 21, 2011) – It’s been six weeks since the tragic double homicide outside Club Select in downtown Baltimore. Then, City Police Commissioner Fred Bealefeld said it would take three weeks.
Today, the Torbit family wants answers. Officer William H. Torbit, along with civilian Sean Gamble, were both killed outside the niteclub.
According to organizer and radio personality Daren Muhammad, “The commissioner promised the family answers in 3 weeks.”
He added, “It’s 6 weeks now and there has been no report from the mayor or the police commissioner. The family wants answers. They have briefed Annapolis, but they still haven’t briefed the family.”
The press conference will take place at Franklin and Paca streets today at noon.
