A STAR IS BORN: Sonya Lowery's "World Next Door" on Radio One's "Empower Hour" with Doni Glover, 9.11.12
(BALTIMORE - September 10, 2012) - On the next “Empower Hour” (Tues., Sept. 11, 2012 :: 10-11 am) with host and publisher of BMORENEWS, Doni Glover, is the one-of-a-kind Sonya Lowery. Whether it’s skydiving or scuba diving or racecar driving – this Renaissance Woman is fearless, fierce, and absolutely fine.
It's just a matter of time before either the First Lady, Michelle Obama, or Hollywood picks up this lady and her's will be a household name synonymous with self-empowerment.
An entrepreneur since 1999, Sonya has since become an author, speaker, cover model and mom. These experiences have taken Lowery around the world for both business and pleasure and prepared her for her current role as host of “Sonya Lowery’s World Next Door”.
In her many travels, she has discovered an interesting fact: that most people spend their entire weekend doing the ordinary, the routine and the mundane. Sonya plans to change that by introducing viewers to interesting sights, unique flavors, and incredible experiences through her eyes.
Sonya began to compile her ‘bucket list’ along with a list of DC’s best hidden jewels that would become the effort to get people to live life to the fullest, get out of their comfort zones, and discover … the “World Next Door.”
Join us Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 10 to 11 am on WOLB 1010 AM in Baltimore – streaming live on www.wolbbaltimore.com.
