William “Big O.W.L” Murray
For William Murray, who is known as Big O.W.L to the entertainment world, music was never just a hobby, it was something much more. It almost seemed destined that music would become such a big part of his life. Big O.W.L began singing at the early age of six. With the help of Aleathia Washington, the music director of Christian community Church of God. It was there that his gift truly bloomed.
As he grew, so did his love of music. Entering high school he met Rocky Shipley, a producer who saw Murray’s talent. Rocky sought to help Big O.W.L mature his music into something more. During his high school career, he met others with similar love for music and with that they formed a group known as “Ultimate Condition”.
The group consisted of Ronnie Henson, David McCullen, David “Davinchi” Chance, Dante “Chi” Jordan, and Big O.W.L. The group stayed together for a time performing local shows around town before splitting up to further their careers on different paths. Big O.W.L decided to further his education in the art of music and song. He attended The School of Arts for vocal training, The Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, New Shiloh School of Music, and The Maryland Institute of Art.
Big O.W.L spent his time changing and perfecting his style of music and lyric, from Gospel to R&B. His music always rooted from personal experiences, which has always attracted his audiences to him. His ability to transform his feelings and life into song is undeniable and a true vision.
With the support of O.W.L’s family he sought a narrow path in which he had to endure many setbacks. But with this came his experience in the business and he learned patience; realizing this he worked until he had the means of reaching his goal. As time progressed his music was shaped into a unforeseen project that birthed his Album “Teddy Bear Dreams”.

The Glover Report: It's Election Time!:
Whether it's Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta - wherever, black people have to come to better understand a Delegate from a state Senator and a state Senator from a US Senator. We have to understand what the local Council does, what the state assembly does, and what is done in Congress. We also have to understand the legislation they write and who it impacts. Classic example: prisons. Somebody is voting for more and more prisons. My issue is that too many people who look just like me keep filling these cells. Currently, America has the Gold! It incarcerates 25% of the world's inmates, 40% who are black and male ... like me.
