Theatre Project presents VT Dance:
Theatre Project presents Vincent E. Thomas and VTDance, for two exciting weekends of dance. Vincent is a recipient of a 2009 Baker Artist-Peoples' Choice Award (established by the William G. Baker, Jr. Memorial Fund) and a 2009 Best of Baltimore- Choreographer Award. The residency will feature two award winning programs- the Grandmother Project and Witness. Both works received the acclaimed MetroDC Dance Awards for Outstanding New Work and Witness is a 2008 John F. Kennedy Center Local Dance Commission Project. Featured performers include: 2009 Mary Sawyers Baker Prize Artist Carl Grubbs (saxophone), Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell, students of the Morton Street Dance Center, Sharon Chaiklin, and Senior Electricity.
Performances for Grandmother Project are March 19, 20 @ 8pm and March 21 @ 3pm.
Performance for Witness are March 26, 27 @ 8pm and March 28 @ 3pm.
