Maryland’s Finest: RIO at Washington Entertainment Center
(GAITHERBURG – June 7, 2009) – Everyone’s heard of Harbor Place in Baltimore and the new National Harbor complex in Prince George’s County. However, the Rio at Washington Entertainment Center could be one of the state’s best-kept secrets.
One could literally spend the entire day catching a great meal, going to the movies, or just paddling in a paddleboat. Heck, one could even spend a couple hours just taking a relaxing stroll.
There are a number of restaurants at RIO, including Hamburger Hamlet, Village Green House of Kebob, Guapo's Cantina, Redrock Canyon Grill, Macaroni Grill, Potbelly's, California Pizza Kitchen, and Joe's Crab Shack.
From golf to swimming to a number of hotels, RIO is certainly worth the visit.

Despite all that is messed up, I am taken back to grandma’s favorite hymn, #325, in the good ol’ Baptist Hymnal: “We’ll understand it better bye and bye.” I’m taken back to the praying man’s visit every Monday at 4 pm and the long, long prayers he would utter.
