(BALTIMORE – July 6, 2017 ) – It is with great honor and pride that Bmorenews announces tonight’s Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards at the Hilton Baltimore Hotel Lobby Bar (401 W. Pratt Street), held from 6 to 8 pm in conjunction with Hassan Giordano for Baltimore’s “Freedom Fighters” Fundraiser. Giordano is a candidate in next June’s election for Clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
Founded by Bmorenews.com in Washington, D.C. in 2011, the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Award is presented to black entrepreneurs and professionals as well as the people who support them regardless of race. Done in memory of the 600 black businesses destroyed May 31-June 1, 1921, the purpose of these awards is to encourage black business owners. To date, Bmorenews.com and its partners have honored hundreds in New York, Maryland, Washington D.C., Atlanta and New Orleans.
