Regina Smith, CEO of Katlady Productions, to be Recognized at Black Wall Street HARLEM, 10.20.17

(HARLEM – October 13, 2017) – Bmorenews and its Black Wall Street movement return to New York next Friday. Followers of www.bmorenews.com may recall that we hosted a Black Wall Street earlier in the spring at Brooklyn Borough Hall. Next Friday, however, we’re going uptown to the Urban Yoga Foundation in Harlem (549 W. 152nd Street), owned by Ghylian Bell.

In short, Bmorenews and its partners celebrate black entrepreneurs and professionals as well as the people who support them regardless of race. This initiative began in 2011 in Washington, D.C. Since its inception, Bmorenews has recognized hundreds in New York, Baltimore, D.C., Atlanta and New Orleans.

Honorees this time around include Regina Smith. Ms. Smith is the CEO of Katlady Productions, a company that deals with fashion and entertainment which includes fashion designers, creative designers, and fur designers; further, the firm does event planning.

Smith told Bmorenews.com, “We have worked with some of the greatest artists and entertainment professionals ever, including Blue Magic, Ray Goodman & Brown, DJ Reggie Wells, The Motown Sisters and the late Vaughn Harper.” She added, “Our affairs have featured suits by some of the best in the industry, including Teddy Peterson. Also, we have worked with at-risk youth and ex-offenders, especially in Harlem. Our primary focus is with women.”

Her firm’s work has been showcased at The Minisink Townhouse in Harlem, the The Minisink Townhouse in Harlem, and the Annual R&B Weekend with Lincoln Session in Philadelphia, to name a few. Further, she has been featured in a number of publications, including DMochelle Fashion Magazine and Canada Fashion Lines Magazine.
