Black Wall Street HARLEM to Recognize Haydee Lee Scott, 9.14.18, MIST Harlem

Honorees include Haydee Lee Scott, an International Speaker, Entrepreneur, Facilitator, Artist, Producer and Community Developer. Haydee Lee’s formal education includes colleges such as Borough of Manhattan Community College, The City College of New York and Bank Street College of Education. Her studies included Early Childhood Education, Developmental Disabilities, Family Development and Human Services.

Haydee Lee’s work in the Education Field dates back to 1999. Working as an Early Childhood Educator at several private schools. In 2015 she began freelancing, working with The New York State Early Childhood Advisory council on the Quality Starts NY project and Bank Street of Education Literacy project. Haydee Lee’s additional exposure to Network Marketing created the platform for her to gain knowledge in business management, social development, Event Planning and Media Production. These very different arenas of Education, Human services, Business and Film inspired Haydee Lee’s freedom to think creatively and service people through creating environments and content that create opportunities for personal and social change. In 2013 Haydee Lee began her entrepreneur venture, and since then has Co- Founded Opportunities and Change, Founded Haydee Lee Media and Founded and  directed both TEAM Arts and Love Thyself First. Haydee Lee has used her testimony of overcoming loss, anxiety, depression, abandonment, violence, abuse and shifting her Mindset towards God, Loving Thyself First, stepping out in faith and stepping into purpose to create unique programs and community events which serve women, children and Youth. Determined to bring awareness to strengthen families and communities similar to her upbringing, Haydee Lee decided to focus on Mental Health, Emotional Intelligence and Social Emotional development. in urban communities. Creating platforms such as conferences, panel discussions, groups and workshops Haydee Lee has begun the conversation on the importance of Mental Wellness and removing the destructive stigma’s surrounding Mental Health and redefining and reimagining what does Mental Health care can be in Urban Communities.

Haydee Lee is currently living in East Harlem with her husband and two children, and continues to develop children and families as she facilitates, LTF: A Woman Empowerment Experience and TEAM Arts.  She continues to run her businesses, Serve God’s Touch Healing Ministry and travel the world creating experiences and sharing words of Love, Faith and Hope.
