The Glover Report: Welcome to the Newest Edition of Bmorenews.com
By D. Morton Glover, Publisher
(BALTIMORE – January 14, 2016) – Thank you to our many faithful followers from the DMV to those from more than two hundred nations around the world who have kept us viable for the past 13 years. Team Bmorenews appreciates all that has been done in the past. At present, we have just launched our new face. It was long overdue; nonetheless, we are elated and truly believe we can do an even better job than in the past. With technology changing daily, it was essential to upgrade with the times. Otherwise, we’d be dinosaurs.
Hence, we welcome you to newest edition of Bmorenews.com, a news outlet based in Sandtown – the same community that has received international attention since the tragic death of Freddie Gray. For the past 21 years, I have had the distinct pleasure of reporting the news. And while I have been fortunate to be able to cover news in Africa, the Middle East, Jamaica and Canada, I am forever reminded of my humble beginnings as the editor of the Sandtown-Winchester ViewPoint back in 1994.
Well, enough with the nostalgia. There is so much to report on: From the cop trials related to the death of Freddie Gray to the April 26th Primary Election in Baltimore, we have a lot of catching up to do.
Again, a warm thanks to all of the people who help make Bmorenews.com the unapologetically black voice of the community that it is. And a special word of thanks to the tech people who have secured our business from day one: William Hopson, Alexis Coates, Jevon Spivey, Mario Armstrong, Tyrone Cloyd, and Muss Sterrett of www.customruns.com. We can’t thank them enough!
