WHO IS LEIGH KRAMER?
Leigh Kramer is President and Founder of Helicopter Marketing & Communications, a Baltimore company specializing in strategic planning and business development for growing companies and innovative products and services. She has over 30 years experience in marketing and public relations. Through her company she provides strategic planning, branding, publicity, advertising, web development and other marketing services to businesses and organizations. Rik Ferrell (Eastern Shore/Annapolis) and Sarah Kitlowski (Sarasota, FL) help her to maintain a pseudo-national footprint.
Prior to founding Helicopter, Leigh was Director of Marketing for Continental Realty Corporation, a local commercial real estate developer. In addition to corporate marketing, she focused on marketing the company’s retail properties, and was chiefly involved in the years-long redevelopment of the formerly nasty looking Reisterstown Road Plaza, which is now not half bad looking and has way more shoppers. Previously the Marketing Manager at White Marsh Mall, she oversaw all of the center’s annual marketing, advertising, PR and special events, including the opening of Lord and Taylor, the first annual Baltimore’s Biggest Baby Shower, and the stupendous annual Santa arrival Parade.
Earlier, Leigh was a regional marketing coordinator for Crestar Bank (later acquired by SunTrust), and a founding partner in Oceana Magazine, the coolest magazine Ocean City ever had. Leigh graduated from Towson University with a B.S. in Mass Communications.
She lives in Baltimore City with her husband, the handsome and charming Jesús Rivera, and their adorable calico manx Katrina.
